Squids and SIDs

February 23, 2007

Wow.. blogs… I mean wow… blogs…

I’ve pretty much thought they were a waste of time. For the most part I feel like blogs are created by a bunch of people that don’t care how cluttered the web is by their crap, and think that the world actually wants to read about their relatively worthless lives. It’s probably too late to save it anyway thanks to porn, viagra ads and countless alluring “Funniest Home” style videos on youtube showing the endless number of ways a child can fall from a swing and bone their jello-like heads onto, into or through something firm. But hey, I’ve watched my fair share of them when I’ve exhausted the vids on squids, so I guess I belong here too.

Introductions.. Introductions… I was labelled Andrew at birth because my mother thought it better than letting my father call me Albert. I really don’t know how anyone called Albert makes it through the world today without picking up a gun and attempting to wipe Martin Bryant from the top spot. I mean, it doesn’t take a Marty, or to be named Albert, to realise that the world is full of frustrating and selfish people who don’t bother to look in their rear vision mirror whlist puttering along in the express lane. If I wasn’t trying to keep up my politically correct image I’d say it was good for society for some ignorant people to be retrospectively aborted so long as it made headlines with the hope of reaching through some of those thick thick skulls. Ofcourse this almost never happens and it’s always some “crazy” person that snaps… I’m not so sure they’re crazy though.

So hands up who thinks the world has become a sesspool of corruption, exploitation and mis-information existing to subdue thought and control masses?! There’s a plethora of cases to support this that come to mind… Just a couple off the top of my head:

  1. The world trade centre bombing – I know it’s old news now, but there really is a large group of people crying out for some intelligent investigation into this who have been silenced by the super-rich/souless.
  2. ACA (A Current Affair) – Wtf… It’s not enough that we have wars, disease and old age to fear… they want to bring the fear right into everyday things we interact with. I’m pretty sure they ran a story on how Schapelle was unfairly imprisoned when her retirement plan went bearish too.
  3. All this typing…. I’m tired now… Time to dream of the two great mysteries of the world.. Squids and SIDs
